New Co-Funded PhD Partnership with Epilepsy Research Institute UK

Published: Tuesday, September 16, 2025

The Anatomical Society and Epilepsy Research Institute are excited to offer a co-funded studentship to support a PhD student to investigate epilepsy with a focus on anatomical sciences. This includes both macroscopic anatomy and imaging, as well as histological and cellular studies. Applications must be relevant to the Epilepsy Research Institute’s research themes, as laid out in the guidance.

Applications are invited for awards of up to £110,000, over three years (FTE). Funds will cover basic maintenance and fees for postgraduate students working towards a higher degree in epilepsy and anatomical research. We invite applications from clinical, data and basic researchers.

Preliminary applications are due on the 6th of October 2025. Full information can be found here.
